NOIDA, also known as New Okhla Industrial Development Area came into existence after Sanjay Gandhi set it up as part of an urbanization drive during the controversial Emergency period, with a view to develop an Integrated Industrial Township for the industrial growth of the area, under the Uttar Pradesh Industrial Area Development Act, it best symbolizes harmony between human habitat and Industrial Enterprise. This city is located in Gautam Buddha Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh state and was created under the UP Industrial Area Development Act. It has first-class amenities and is considered to be one of the most modern suburbs of Delhi in the National Capital Region.
